This wonderful country is formed by seventeen deparments: Managua (the capital), Estelí, Madriz, Nueva Segovia, Chinandega, León, Masaya, Carazo, Granada, Rivas, Boaco, Chontales, Jinotega, Matagalpa, Atlántico Norte, Atlántico Sur y Río San Juan.

The territory of Nicaragua is formed by a beam of mountainous chains that are opened in fan towards the east and Southeastern until getting fused with the sedimentary coast plain that bathes waters of the Caribbean.

By its strategic geographic location, in the center of the Americas, Nicaragua counts with one of the floras and faunas more interesting of the continent, that is composed by originating elements of North America and South America, like also by a great percentage of endemic rate.

Two seas, spectacular volcanoes, great lakes, magic lagoon, exuberant rivers, hundred of animals and floras species, colonial cities, archeological treasures, birth cradle of intellectual man, delicious typical dishes, and the warm of its people,  will be the reasons why you will fall in love with Nicaragua.
